JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 18-10-2024 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since prosecution as well as defence evidences have been closed in the trial court and the trial is fixed for hearing, instead of pressing this application for regular bail at this stage, he would pray that the application be disposed of with a direction to the learned trial court to conclude the hearing as early as possible.

2. Learned A.P.P. for the State has no objection to the aforesaid prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. In the circumstances, this application is being disposed of with direction to the learned trial court to conclude the trial by hearing the matter as early as possible considering that the petitioner has already remained in incarceration for over four and half years. The trial should be concluded at the earliest opportunity.
