JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-02-2019 Heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned. The petitioners claim that 5 decimals of land was settled in their favour under the Bihar Privileged Persons Homestead Tenancy Act, 1947. They are seeking direction to the respondent authorities to deliver possession in respect of the lands settled in their favour. It is there case that they had approached the authorities for ensuring delivery of possession, but till date, no action has been taken.

In my opinion, if the petitioners have a grievance that

Patna High Court CWJC No.2631 of 2019(2) dt.13-02-2019 2/2 the authorities under the State of Bihar are not acting in accordance with law or they have certain right arising out of the settlement of land, they have a remedy under the provisions of the Bihar Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, which they may invoke.
