The present writ petition was filed in the month of April, 2008 with a prayer to direct the respondents to declare the post of petitioner as Head Clerk with effect from 1.1.1996, to provide revised pay scale of Rs. 5000 - Rs. 8000 and further allow him scale of Rs. 5500 - Rs. 9000 under A.C.P scheme with effect from 9.8.1999.

The petitioner has admitted that he retired on 31.5.2003.
