Petitioner and other accused are said to have assaulted the informant by means of Lathi and in that course, the petitioner put his leg on the abdomen of informant with intent to cause injury to him.

Annexure-2, Photostat copy of injury report of the informant, shows that altogether three injuries are said to have been found on the person of the informant and out of the aforesaid injuries, two injuries were found to be simple in nature and so far as third injury is concerned; that was the symptom of vomiting.
