The petitioner is in custody in connection with Purshotampur P.S. Case No. 07 of 2019 for the offenses under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 379, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of land dispute there is a case and counter case between the parties. The allegation against the petitioner is that he has given lathi blow on the head and hands of the brother of informant. But the injury sustained by the brother of the informant is on the hand and not on the head. The petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2019. It is further submitted that there is

Considering the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Purshotampur P.S.
