JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 15-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. I.For direction to the respondent authorities particularly respondent District Magistrate, Kishanganj to consider and grant promotion to the petitioner on post of Lower Division Clerk w.e.f. the date when Junior to the petitioner has been granted by an order bearing memo no.-1072 dated 06.12.2023 issued under the signature of the D.M, Kishanganj.

II. For direction to the respondent authorities particularly respondent District Magistrate, Kishanganj to consider the representation of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.674 of 2024(2) dt.15-02-2024 2/2 petitioner dated 22.12.2023 and take an appropriate decision regarding grant of promotion to the higher post of Lower Division Clerk on the basis of seniority expeditiously."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Kishanganj for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner approaches the District Magistrate, Kishanganj, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
