The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 05.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 80268 of 2019.

This Court had called for a report from the court below about the stage of the case. The report has since been received.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner has informed this court that according to his information

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15533 of 2021(4) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 charges have been framed now.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him at this stage.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

Should there be no substantial progress in the case in the next six months, it would be open for the petitioner to approach this Court again.
