The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Fatehpur P. S. Case No. 56 of 2018 dated 02.03.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 308, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3344 of 2019(2) dt.24-01-2019 2/3 Code.

The petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the informant, leading to injury on his person.

It has been urged on behalf of the petitioners that prior to the lodging of the present case, a case was lodged against the informant vide Fatehpur P. S. Case No. 55 of 2018 under various Sections of the Indian Penal Code. Because of the brothers of the informant having misbehaved in an inebriated condition, an occurrence had taken place for which the informant and his brothers were made accused at the instance of the petitioners, the present case has been filed.

Regard being had to the background facts of this case, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate,
