The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 448, 500, 504, 509, 341, 323 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Prevention of Witch Practices Act. Prosecution case in short is that when the informant was cooking food at her home, all the accused persons including the petitioners, entered into the house and abused the informant, saying her dian, and when the informant objected,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3927 of 2022(2) dt.15-06-2022 2/2 co-accused Madhuri Devi cut her hair and Anchal of Sari with scissors.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against them and specific allegation is against co-accused Madhuri Devi and not these petitioners. Petitioners have got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the petitioners, above named in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Jamui in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 232 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Brajesh Kumar/- U T
