Learned AC to Standing Counsel no.28 submits that the relief, which has been sought for in the writ petition, has already been granted to the writ petitioner and this fact has been mentioned in paragraph-9 of the counter affidavit. He submits that in the writ petition, the petitioner has made a prayer for granting all benefits in respect of his promotion of Sub-Inspector of Police from the Month of January, 2006 along with arrear of salary. In paragraph9 of the counter affidavit, it has been stated that the petitioner has been given all financial benefits from 07.01.2006 i.e. from the date of promotion.
