The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 506 / 354(A) / 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

As per the F.I.R., the petitioner is said to have touched the private part of minor daughter of the informant, while she had gone to attend the call of nature.

Petitioner denies the allegation, as made in the F.I.R.. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 25.10.2021. Investigation is complete.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as clean antecedent and period of custody, the bail petition

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2825 of 2022(2) dt.25-03-2022 2/2 of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge VI cum Special Judge (POCSO), Lakhisarai in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 716 of 2021.
