The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Belasand P.S. Case No. 110 of 2013 registered under Sections 376, 313 and 316 and of Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 3(i)(x), 3(2)(v) of S.C./S.T. Act.

There is allegation that victim was raped and she has became pregnant and her pregnancy was terminated in unconscious condition by giving injection by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is compromise between the parties and case was committed to the Court of Sessions.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same for early disposal of the case after framing of the charge. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after examination of the prosecutrix.
