JUSTICE HARISH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 27-09-2023 The present application has been filed seeking initiation of a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for their alleged wilful disobedience of the order dated 10.05.2018 passed in CWJC No. 18439 of 2016, whereby the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Lecensing Authority, Munger to take a final decision in accordance with the provisions of the Arms Act and Rules by passing a speaking order within a period of six weeks.

2. A show cause affidavit has been filed on behalf of the opposite party nos. 2 and 3.

3. Learned counsel for the State with reference to the averments made in paragraph no. 11 of the said show cause

Patna High Court MJC No.2639 of 2018(2) dt.27-09-2023 2/2 submits that in compliance of the order of this Court, the application of the petitioner for grant of Arms License of D.B.B.L. Gun was duly considered and the same has been rejected by passing a reasoned and speaking order on 17.09.2018, copy of which has been placed on record as annexure-B to the show cause.

4. Considering the averments made in the show cause affidavit and the submission advanced on behalf of the State, the present contempt petition stands disposed of.

5. It is made clear that if the petitioner has any grievance, he shall be at liberty to assail the order or file any proper application before the competent authority. (Harish Kumar, J) Anjani/- U
