Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nayagaon PS Case No. 156 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 341 / 323 / 307 / 504 of the IPC. The petitioner, in drunken condition, arrived at the shop of the informant, abused and assaulted him by means of knife and lathi on his right arm, thigh, head and legs. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged. Learned counsel next submits that injuries caused to the informant are simple in nature over thigh and right arm, which would be evident from the impugned order itself caused by sharp cutting weapon except the injury on the head of the informant caused by hard and blunt substance.

No.2729 of 2022(2) dt.26-05-2022 2/2 Regard being had to the submissions made by the parties, taking into consideration period of custody of the petitioner i.e. since 31-08-2021, the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted, there is no likelihood that petitioner will abscond or tamper with the evidence, as such, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20000/- (twenty thousand ) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Saroj, Judicial Magistrate - 1st Class, Chapra, District Saran in connection with Nayagaon PS Case No. 156 of 2021.
