The vehicle of the petitioner bearing Registration No.UP63AT-6166 was seized by the authority concerned under Rule 56 (2) of Bihar Minerals (Concession, Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation & Storage) Rules, 2019 and amendment Rules, 2021 on the ground that the petitioner had no valid Challan and the authority has imposed the penalty to a tune of Rs.2,94,600/- (Rs. Two Lacs Ninety Four Thousand and Six Hundred). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1345 of 2025(3) dt.08-04-2025 2/2 petitioner has approached the respondent Nos.4,3 and 2 but the authority has not given any relief to the petitioner then the petitioner has approached this Court for release the vehicle in question bearing Registration No.UP63AT-6166.

3. Learned counsel, on the basis of the instruction received from the petitioner, fairly submits that the petitioner is ready to deposit the fine to a tune of Rs.2,94,600/- (Rs. Two Lacs Ninety Four Thousand and Six Hundred) as demanded by the authority concerned within a period of four weeks and if the petitioner will pay the aforesaid amount before the respondent No.4, the District Mining Officer, Mines and Geology Department, Buxar, District Mining Officer, Buxar is directed to release the vehicle of the petitioner bearing Registration No.UP63AT-6166 in favour of the petitioner forthwith.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
