JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 29-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sarai P.S. Case No. 412 of 2019 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Allegation against the petitioner is that during search, from his possession 15.34 litres of foreign liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is SAP Jawan and he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 02.12.2019. He further submits that other co-accused has been granted bail.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like
