The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of her arrest in connection with Barbigha P.S. Case No. 369 of 2018 dated 03.12.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 379, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant and his family members were attempted to be looted by some of the accused persons who were waiting in a vehicle without a registration number. The petitioner is sought to be prosecuted in this case because of her being the owner of the vehicle. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the vehicle in question is a newly acquired/purchased vehicle of the petitioner which had been given to a person for plying it on commercial basis.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts as also taking into account the gender of the petitioner and clean antecedents, she is directed to be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on her furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura in connection with Barbigha P.S. Case No. 369 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
