2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lodipur P.S. Case No. 131 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 28, 35 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, there is a recovery of huge quantity of arms and ammunition from co-accused namely Md. Anjarul and Md. Salman who have confessed the name of the petitioner as the salesman of the arms.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Md. Anjarul and Md. Salman have already been granted bail by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 13093 of 2024 and Cr. Misc. No. 16843 of 2024 respectively.

5. The petitioner has 8 criminal antecedents also and he is in custody since 29.8.2023.

6. Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

8. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same at the earliest. If the trial of the petitioner is delayed due to the fault of the prosecution side then the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
