ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 21-10-2024 Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner is willing to pay the cost for shifting of the electricity pole and the transmission line which are going through his land.

Learned counsel for the respondents has stated that the petitioner may be directed to give a suitable representation to the authorities concerned i.e. Respondent Nos. 4/5 and the authorities will calculate the amount required to be deposited by the petitioner in case the shifting has to be done.

Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give a suitable representation for removal of the electricity pole and transmission line going through his land and on such representation being given, the same shall be considered by the Respondent Nos. 4/5. The respondents are directed to calculate the amount necessary for removal of the electricity pole and transmission line and communicate the same to the petitioner. On such communication, the petitioner, if he is so willing, may deposit the amount and on such deposit, the respondents shall remove the transmission line and the electricity pole. If the petitioner is so advised and seeks any compensation for the laying of the transmission lines through the land of the petitioner, he is free to agitate his rights before the appropriate Civil Court.

4. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
