JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-01-2023 The present contempt application has been filed alleging willful disobedience of this Court's order dated 14.03.2014 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 3968 of 2014 which was disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to raise his grievance by filing a representation before the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Bettiah, West Champaran. It was directed by the said order that if such representation was filed within one month from the said date, the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad,

Patna High Court MJC No.1224 of 2018(4) dt.04-01-2023 2/2 Bettiah, would be required to consider it and pass an appropriate order within a reasonable time, preferably within three months thereafter.

A show-cause reply has been filed on behalf of the opposite parties stating therein that after this Court's order was brought to the notice of the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Bettiah, steps were taken to consider the petitioner's grievances. There is specific statement made in the show-cause reply that the petitioner's representation has been rejected by an order dated 03.04.2019.

In such view of the matter, in the Court's opinion, the order of this Court stands complied with. No case is made out for initiation of contempt proceeding.
