The petitioner is languishing in custody since 21.10.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3(1) (x) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

It is alleged that one Nepali Yadav demanded extortion through the mobile from the owner of the petroleum dealer. During investigation it transpired that the petitioner supplied the mobile number of the informant to Nepali Yadav. Considering the nature of accusation and the period under custody, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7738 of 2015 (02) dt.04-03-2015 2/2 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Jamui in connection with Chandradeep P.S. Case No. 03 of 2011.

Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the learned court below will be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner, if he substantially gets involved in some serious nature of the offence or defaults for two consecutive occasions.
