The petitioner has raised a grievance against his transfer order contained Memo No. 2245 dated 14.5.2015 from Shikarpur police station to Police Line, Bettiah and when the petitioner has filed his representation mentioning the reason of transfer being the intervention of the politician with respect to investigation arising from the Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 71 of 2018 under Section 302 I.P.C., without showing any cause, he has again been transferred to Muzaffarpur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it is nothing but humiliation to the police officer as, at the behest and
Patna High Court CWJC No.12247 of 2018 dt.24-07-2018 2/2 on intervention of the politician as the petitioner refused to succumb to the pressure of the politician, he has been transferred twice in one year.
Let the petitioner should file a representation before the Inspector General of Police, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur who will call for the record from the authority concerned and examine the same and will take a decision in accordance with law. If the petitioner files a representation before the aforesaid authority, that will be disposed of within a period of one month from the date of filing of the representation along with a copy of this order.
With the aforementioned observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
