JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-04-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.For directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for 'Samman Pension' under J.P. Samman Yojana' in pursuance to government decision vide Resolution No. 74-09/2009111 of Home (Special) Department, Government of Bihar, Patna.

Patna High Court CWJC No.18649 of 2016(2) dt.06-04-2023 2/2 start making payment of Samman Pension under J.P. Samman Yojana we.f.

At the outset, considering the fact that the petitioner is not entitled to Samman Pension under the J.P. Samman Yojna, since he was detained in custody for less than a month, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities, at least for grant of Letter of Appreciation/ Insignia, as per the policy of the state government contained in resolution dated 05.06.2009, issued by the Home (Special) Department, Government of Bihar, Patna. Liberty so sought is granted.
The writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
