JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 27-03-2017 The present writ application has been filed on 24.11.2008 seeking direction to the respondents to issue results/certificates on the basis of examination held in January, 1991 by the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna of teachers training school examination.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Bihar School Examination Board has drawn my attention to a Supreme Court's order dated 23.08.2013, passed in Civil Appeal No. 7132 of 2013 arising out of Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. 8918 of 2012 (Chairman, Bihar School Examination Board & Anr. Vs. Sanjay Kumar & Ors.) to submit that the petitioners claim to have studied in an Institute,

Patna High Court CWJC No.17012 of 2008 dt.27-03-2017 which is not recognized by the State Government, and therefore, their results cannot be published. He has also submitted that the present writ application filed merely 17 years after the concerned examination deserves to be dismissed at the threshold on the ground of delay and laches. I find substance in the submissions advanced on behalf of the Board. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
