JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 04-03-2022 Heard Mr. Saket Anand, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Indu Kumari Srivastava, learned APP for the State through virtual proceedings.

Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks after complete start of the physical Court. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Phulwari Sharif P.S. Case No. 1002 of 2021, giving rise to Special Excise Case No. 7777 of 2021, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 23.11.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted and has antecedent of two cases and allegation is of recovery of 120 litres of liquor, out of 30 litres is alleged to have been recovered from the petitioner.

Learned APP opposes the bail application of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, charge-sheet has been submitted, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise, Patna Sadar in connection with Phulwari Sharif P.S. Case No. 1002 of 2021, giving rise to Special Excise Case No. 7777 of 2021. (Satyavrat Verma, J) uday/- U T
