JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 10-10-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation ( for brevity 'B.S.R.T.C.') It is submitted by the petitioner's counsel that from the pleadings, it is apparent that petitioner was dismissed from service in the year 1991. However, certain deductions consequent upon the same order of punishment have been made from the petitioner, after inordinate delay vide order dated 27.12.2018, passed by the Deputy Chief Account Officer, as contained in Annexure- B to the counter affidavit, levying interest on the amount due. It appears that the delayed

Patna High Court CWJC No.14820 of 2018(2) dt.10-10-2022 2/2 implementation of the punishment order insofar as recovery is concerned, is at the instance of the respondents. It is thus submitted that petitioner cannot be made to suffer for such delay and for claiming the amount of interest unduly saddled on the petitioner, he would be approaching the Chief Account Officer, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation, Patna (Respondent No. 4) by a representation. If the same is filed within a period of four weeks, this Court directs that the Authority would be under an obligation to consider the same by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of three months thereafter.

The writ application is disposed of.
