JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 17-09-2018 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has a limited prayer to direct the Sub-Divisional Officer, Madhubani Sadar to dispose of and conclude the case bearing M.R. Case No. 58 of 2007 which is pending since more than 10 years.
In the nature of relief prayed for, this court does not find any necessity to issue notice to the private respondents. The Sub-Divisional Officer, Madhubani Sadar is directed to dispose of the case being M.R. Case No. 58 of 2007, if pending till date before him, within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
It is made clear that the proceedings shall be disposed of after hearing all the parties but without granting
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1963 of 2017 (2) dt.17-09-2018 any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. The time frame indicated by this court for disposal of the proceeding must be adhered to, failing which the petitioner will have liberty to approach this court in contempt proceeding.
