The petitioner seeks bail in Chiraiya (Shikarganj) P.S. Case No. 247 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 382, 385 and 386 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is not named in the FIR and nothing has been recovered from his possession. It transpires that the mobile from which extortion money was demanded belongs to one Rup Devi son of Tek Ram of Solan, Himachal Pradesh. It has come that call was made from the mobile of the petitioner. Except this there is no material to show that the petitioner demanded any extortion.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11975 of 2015 (2) dt.09-04-2015 2/2 Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Sikrahna at Motihar, East Champaran in connection with Chiraiya (Shikarganj) P.S.
