The learned counsel for the petitioner, by way of the present writ petition, seeks a direction to the Certificate Officer, Vaishali at Hajipur for deciding the objection filed by the petitioner under Section 9 of the Bihar & Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914.

In view of the short submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Certificate Officer, Vaishali at Hajipur to dispose of the Certificate Case No. 27 of 2016-17 by passing final order under Section 10 of the Bihar & Orissa Public

Patna High Court CWJC No.6951 of 2017(2) dt.18-12-2018 2/2 Demands Recovery Act, 1914, after considering the objection already filed by the petitioner under Section 9 of the Act, 1914. Till passing of the final order, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner herein.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner has not filed any objection under Section 9 of the Act, 1914, then the petitioner may do so within a period of four weeks from today. The present writ petition is disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
