ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 27-05-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner, being the brother of the father-in-law of the deceased, is in custody since 20.12.2014 in connection with Masrakh P.S. Case No.187 of 2014 registered for the offences under Sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a bald statement has been made in the F.I.R. regarding involvement of the petitioner in the demand of dowry. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has no role whatsoever to play and his name has been mistakenly taken by the informant at the behest of mischievous villagers.
Considering the aforementioned submissions and also the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12621 of 2015 (2) dt.27-05-2015 2/2 fact that the petitioner has been in custody since 20.12.2014, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Shri D.K. Tiwary, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chapra, in connection with Masrakh P.S. Case No.187 of 2014.
