====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-03-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.T. No. 3498 of 2024 arising out of Complaint Case No. 29 of 2022 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per complaint petition, prosecution case, in brief, is that marriage of the complainant was solemnized with this petitioner on 7.7.18 and thereafter, this petitioner along with other accused persons committed torture and harassment with the complainant for dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner never demanded any dowry nor tortured the complainant. As a matter of fact, petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case only with a view to extort money from him. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 20.09.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in connection with S.T. No. 3498 of 2024 arising out of Complaint Case No. 29 of 2022. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
