This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Turkuliya P.S. Case No.915 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act.

About 9 Kg 600 grams of charas has been recovered from the petitioner, who is in custody since 21.09.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedent and therefore, he may be granted bail though he has been caught red handed. 5.

Considering the quantum of recovery of charas, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4909 of 2024(3) dt.09-04-2024 2/2 regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
