====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 02-07-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the University.

2. By filing the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a direction to the respondents concerned to grant promotion to the petitioner to the post of University Professor for which he is entitled to or any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had applied for certain information regarding his promotion under R.T.I. Act before the concerned respondent of

Patna High Court CWJC No.5082 of 2021 dt.02-07-2024 2/3 the University on 08.02.2018 and 29.07.2018, but till date no any information was given to him. Thereafter, the petitioner has also filed an appeal in this regard, but till date nothing was done by the concerned Authority.

4. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and also perusing the contents of the writ application, it appears that the petitioner has represented his matter before the respondent Authority for redressal of his grievance, but till date, nothing was done nor any information in this regard has been given to him.

5. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, in my view, no useful purpose would be served keeping this writ application pending.

6. Accordingly, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh and detailed representation before the Registrar, B.N. Mandal University, Madhepura (respondent no.5) along with the supporting documents within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt/production of this order. The respondent no.5 is well advised to dispose of the representation of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of ten weeks from the date of filing of such representation by the petitioner after

7. It is made clear that the respondent no.5 shall be personally responsible for non-compliance of this order within the stipulated period.

8. With the aforesaid observation, this writ application stands disposed of.
