The petitioners, two in number, seek bail in a case registered under Section 135 of the Electricity Act. The motor garage of the petitioners was raided and it was found that the petitioners were committing theft of electrical energy and thereby caused loss of Rs. 8,31,510/-. Mr. Viveka Nand Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the petitioners are ready to deposit Rs. 2,00,000/- in four equal installments and with regard to the rest amount, the petitioners shall file a petition before the authority for assessing the actual loss.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7399 of 2015 (2) dt.23-02-2015 2/2 petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail in K. Hat (Maranga) P.S. Case No. 460 of 2014 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall firstly deposit Rs. 50,000/- within two weeks from today and thereafter, after every fortnight, the petitioners shall deposit the remaining amount of Rs. 1,50,000/-. After depositing Rs. 2,00,000/-, the petitioners shall file a petition before the authority for assessing the actual damage.
