This application for regular bail arises out of Piprakothi P.S. Case No. 110 of 2018, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 302,120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner was not named in the First Information Report. The persons were named in the FIR on the basis of suspicion. In course of investigation, the name of the petitioner surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Ram Bahadur Singh and Rana Kumar, who are said to have given vivid description of the manner of occurrence. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that said Ram Bahadur Singh and Rana Kumar

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.982 of 2020(4) dt.05-06-2020 2/2 have been allowed regular bail by this Court by orders dated 21.02.2019 and 19.04.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 73715 of 2018 and Cr. Misc. No. 5488 of 2019.

Considering the submission that the persons on whose confessional statement name of the petitioner emerged has been allowed regular bail by this Court, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in Piprakothi P.S. Case No. 110 of 2018.
