Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 302 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner allegedly caused injury with lathi at the head of the father of the informant as a result whereof he died. The postmortem report would reveal that head injury, caused by hard blunt substance, was cause of death as the Doctor had noticed blood and blood clot present on the occipital region and linear fracture of occipital bone.

Considering the nature of material and seriousness of the allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail for the present in connection with Sessions Trial No. 242 of 2020 arising out of Sathi P.S. Case No. 114 of 2020 pending in the Court of learned 4th Additional Sessions Judge,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12737 of 2021(3) dt.01-09-2021 2/2 West Champaran, Bettiah.

Hence, prayer for bail is refused.

If the trial would not conclude within a period of one year, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew the prayer for bail.
