2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection with Complaint Case No. 215 of 2017.
3. As per allegation, the petitioner who is husband of the victim, and his family members tortured the victim for nonfulfilment of demand of dowry.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the behaviour of the complainant was rude towards the petitioner and his parents and on the ground of cruelty the petitioner has filed a divorce case against the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11836 of 2025(8) dt.14-10-2025 2/2 complainant in the family court Surat, Gujarat, since the couple was residing in Surat at that time. The Judge, Family Court No.2, Surat, vide judgement and order dated 27.02.2019, decreed the suit of the petitioner and dissolved the marriage between the couple in Family Suit No. 570 of 2017.
5. None appeared on behalf of opposite party no.2, despite notices being sent.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Judge 6-cum-ACJM, Sasaram, Rohtas in connection with Complaint Case No. 215 of 2017.
