This modification application has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner to add alias name in the array of parties and to extent the time for surrender.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner alongwith five others petitioners were granted bail vide order dated 16.08.2022 in Cr. Misc. No.15867 of 2022, but at the time of furnishing bail bond of the present petitioner, the name mentioned in the Aadhar Card and in the party position did not match and due to this, the bail bond of the petitioner was not accepted by the learned court below. It is further submitted that Manti Devi, petitioner no.5 of Cr. Misc. No.15867 of 2022 and Sanju Devi are same and only one person, who is daughter

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13159 of 2023(3) dt.27-04-2023 2/2 of Panchhi Rai and wife of Sunil Rai, petitioner no.6. In this regard, a photo copy of ration card and Aadhar Card issued in the name of Sanju Devi, Wife of Sunil Rai have been annexed as Annexure-1 and 2 to this modification application. In such view of the matter, this modification application is allowed and the name of petitioner Manti Devi be read as Manti Devi @ Sanju Devi and period of surrender before the learned court below is extended by four weeks from today in connection with Marhaura (Gaura O.P.) P.S. Case No.65 of 2021, subject to deposit of fine of Rs.2000/- in the Victim Compensation Fund.
