2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(C), 20(b(II)C, 29, 27(a) of the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

3. As per the prosecution case, total 37.135 kg of ganja is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence and has falsely been implicated in this case. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. He submits that the petitioner is not associated with

He further submits that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 12.10.2024. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the said contraband article has been recovered from the house of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of regular bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected in connection with Adhaura P.S. Case No. 72 of 2024.

7. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charges. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) anand/- U T
