2. Lastly, prayer for bail of the petitioner was refused by this Court vide order dated 5.10.2021. Trial court's report dated 9.2.2024 reflects that till date out of seven charge sheet witnesses, only one prosecution witness has been examined.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 5.10.2020 and there is no likelihood of conclusion of the trial in near future.

4. Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and tardy progress of the trial, let the petitioner as named above be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge I cum Special Judge, Motihari, East Champaran in NDPS Case No.56/2020, Adapur Harpur Police Station Case No. 331 of 2020.
