BAJANTHRI) 01-02-2024 Pursuant to our earlier order dated 23.01.2024 learned State counsel, on instruction, submitted that in the event of production of subject matter of vehicle documents by the petitioner after due identification of the petitioner, the subject matter of vehicle bearing Registration No. DL-3C-CR-9040 (Toyota Glanza G [MT]) car would be released in favour of the petitioner.

2. Therefore, the petitioner is hereby directed to furnish requisite documents of the subject matter of motor vehicle and apprise the concerned officials. The above exercise shall be

Patna High Court CWJC No.1352 of 2024(3) dt.01-02-2024 2/2 undertaken by both petitioner and official respondents in so far as releasing of subject matter of motor vehicle within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

3. Having regard to the fact that petitioner has been unnecessarily compelled to file writ petition and mentally harassed for about six months, he is entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified at Rs. 10,000/- . Cost shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
