The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bangaon P.S. Case No. 118 of 2018 corresponding to Special (Excise) P.S. Case No. 566 of 2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a), 38(1) 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Mr. Diwakar Prasad Singh, learned advocate for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present anticipatory bail petition in order to enable the petitioner to surrender before the court below and seek bail. Should such an application be filed, the court below shall take into account that similarly situated
