Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Having retired voluntarily as "Dafadar" on 30.11.2019, the petitioner has made an application for grant of ACP on 25.02.2022 before the Respondent No.3. His grievance is non-consideration by his representation.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, this Court would observe that the issue regarding his entitlement is to be considered by the District Magistrate (Respondent No.3) and, therefore, pendency of the writ application would serve no useful purpose.

Writ application is accordingly disposed of with
