1. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed an application on 06.06.2023, before the Sub-Registrar, District Registrar Office, Buxar for refund of the excess Stamp Duty, deposited by her, amounting to a sum of Rs.80,020/-, however, till date no orders has been passed thereon, hence the District Sub-Registrar be directed to take a final decision within a stipulated time frame.

2. Having regard to the limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Sub-Registrar, District Registration Office, Buxar, to consider the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner on 06.06.2023, for refund of the excess amount of Stamp Duty,

Patna High Court CWJC No.1492 of 2024(2) dt.02-05-2024 2/2 deposited by her and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order and in case any amount is found refundable, the same shall also be paid, within the same time frame.

3. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
