The petitioner seeks bail in Barari P.S. Case No. 157/2014 registered for the offence under Section 379/366 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have kidnapped the daughter of the informant, but the daughter appeared and made statement under Section 164 of Cr. P.C. She disclosed that her parents wanted to marry her with a widower and that is why she left her house and solemnized marriage with Ashish Kumar Poddar, the petitioner. She denied the factum of kidnapping. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each
