2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 94 of 2024 instituted under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. The petitioner and others are said to have fired. One of the bullets hit the victim causing injury in his thigh.
4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the name of the petitioner has come during investigation and therefore he deserves anticipatory bail.
5. I have considered the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner and the records of the case. The petitioner is said to have fired to terrorize the locality in the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4520 of 2025(2) dt.05-02-2025 2/2 town of Gaya in which one person was injured.
6. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
7. In view of the above, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.
8. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.
9. If the petitioner surrenders within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the same shall be considered by the Court below in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the present order.
