Tanuja Mishra, Advocate AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement: Learned counsel for the petitioner and State have assisted the Court. The matter relates to payment of family pension due to Chandrakala Devi, mother of the petitioner and late Savita Devi, who died in harness. In view of the communication of the Accountant General to the District Education Officer, Muzaffarpur, for taking a final decision in the matter based on the relevant Government policy/circular under letter dated 04.04.

2017, as agreed between the parties, learned counsel for the State submitted that a final decision shall be taken within two months from today and depending on the decision taken, any benefit which is required to be extended to the petitioner shall be granted within the next two months.

The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
