JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 13-12-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the father of the petitioner died in harness on 20.09.2012 and the petitioner, being the dependant, has approached the respondents for consideration of his case for compassionate appointment. He further submits that the case of the petitioner was forwarded by the Headmaster of the School where his father was working as Guard (Adeshpal) enclosing all the documents in the year 2013, but the respondents are sitting tight over the matter.
In view of the fact that the father of the petitioner
Patna High Court CWJC No.7012 of 2017 dt.13-12-2017 2/2 died on 20.09.2012 and the Headmaster of the School where the father of the petitioner was working has also forwarded the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment on 15.04.2013, the respondent no.4 (District Education Officer, Saran at Chapra) is directed to take final decision, if not already taken, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order considering the hardship on account of the death of bread earner of the family. With the aforesaid, this writ application stands disposed of.
