2. The petitioner apprehend his arrest in connection with Madhubani P.S. Case No. 116 of 2025, for offences under Sections 137(2) and 140(3) of the B.N.S., 2023.
3. The petitioner and other accused persons are alleged to have kidnapped the minor daughter of the informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. From the statement of the victim girl it appears that nothing wrong was done with her. She has come back home on own.
5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2565 of 2026(4) dt.24-02-2026 2/2 the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that petitioner has clean antecedent, the application for anticipatory bail stands allowed.
7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea/concerned Court below, in connection with Madhubani P.S. Case No. 116 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/ section 482(2) of the BNSS.
