Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and the learned counsel for the informant.

Petitioner is said to have given Farsa blow causing head injury to the informant. Annexure-2 to this petition shows that altogether four injuries were found on the person of the informant and out of them, two injuries {injury nos. (i) and (ii)} were found on the scalp of the informant. The doctor opined that both the aforesaid injuries, found on the scalp of the informant, were grievous in nature but the description of the aforesaid injuries shows that one injury was found over left parietal region

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4853 of 2016 (2) dt.11-02-2016 2/2 of size 2" X 1/4" X skin Deep and another injury was found over left parietal region of size 2" X 1" X 1/2".

Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the aforesaid injuries do not come under the definition of grievous injury.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda in connection with Deep Nagar P.S.Case No. 326 of 2015.
